I called Bank Of America to increase my credit limit from $8000 to $9000 and they approved it immediately. MBNA lowered my Quantum Card interest rate from 13.99% to 11.9 % fixed. I asked Capital One to lowered my interest rate and instead they reduced annual fee $39 into half for a year ($14.50). They showed their appreciation of my business with them for last four years. Iasked Home Depot to incrase my limit from $6600 to $8000 and they approved it. Ron.
$14.50 x 2 = $29.00 shouldn't you add another $5? Just asking, maybe your AF is really only $29, and you didn't know. Anyways, Congrats!
Erica, Sorry!The annual fee should be $29. That' my mistakes. I called a couple of creditors for trying lowerin my APR or increase my limit. I think it is good time to do something because they wanted to use their cards or oweing money on cards. That's how they made money off you.
