can we put our credit in perspective? Can we post some good news about what is going on with our lives to help us see that there is life outside of credit repair/rebuilding?

My good news is that I will be celebrating my 15th wedding anniversary in about three weeks. I am really blessed to have a wonderful dh (even if he really can't manage money) who is thoughtful, kind, loving and faithful.

Let's see...My daughter tried out and made cheerleader :) I am getting my Tummy Tuck in April. I reached and surpassed my goal weight. Not everyone will understand that one (but Diva will).

My life is going well right now, I'm happy, my family is healthy and my credit is so-so, but that takes time.

    Cool thread!

Monday, 4/1, I began the EAS Body For Life challenge. I used to be really buff from running 5 miles/day & lifting weights, but corporate America happened to me :)

Since January, I've worked out with Tony Little videos several times per week, doing cardiovascular workouts on the treadmill & 45 min of weightlifting 5 days a week.

I'm tall and people routinely think I weigh 20-25lbs less than I really do -- thank God they don't know the truth! I've dropped 2 dress sizes, lost 14 1/2 pounds, and beginning to look like "superwoman" (high school nickname) again.

Had my yearly review yesterday from the boss, said I did well and rewarded me with a 3% raise (6% for the year).

Hopefully once I complete RPG IV and CL courses I'll be in development by the end of the year, even bigger raise :) :) :)

    I'm making pig-in-a-blankets.
No bad news, so that makes it good news.
    It's almost trout season.
    It snowed three inches today.
We got a new battery for the dog's zapp collar.

Mom is all better. I got her (us) a treadmill, finally got it up and running today. :)

The azaleas and dogwoods are blooming - they're gorgeous!!

Spring is having trouble staying - they're forecasting a hard freeze tonight. :(

I still have some firewood left :)

    Good Idea.

Well, had a physical and took a strenght test.

Was in the top 10 % for leg and hand strenght.
Not bad for someone who was in a wheelchair and had to learn to walk again several years ago. ( I was in great shape before that)

Working hard on cardio now and weights 4 days a week. Expect to be like the statue of David in 3-6 months!

Today I decided to take a walk.

As I was walking down my street, I tripped and bruised my leg, I started to bleed but I kept walking. As I crossed the street a car came around the corner and hit me. My arm no longer functions, but I felt no pain. So I kept walking. Two blocks down the road four dogs ran after me and chased me down because I had a pork chop in my pocket. They torn open my new clothes. About 10 minutes later as I decided to use the pay phone on the corner and lightening struck and turned my hair white. I decided to pass a construction site. I forgot my hard hat. A brick fell from the fifth floor and dented my head. It hurt. On my way home a moving truck lost some of its contents, namely a piano on wheels, and it chased me almost a whole block. Luckily I don't have a musicaly bone in my body, so it gave up before I got to my front door.

Today I decided to take a walk.

I have the greatest mom in the world. She will be gifting me $40k toward the downpayment on a house (if I can get a mortgage for the rest!).

My new job (since July, 2001) has proven to very fruitful and rewarding - after just five months, got a 4k bonus as well as another $1300 bonus. I'm now being called the "Golden Child" in the area and my manager lets it be known under no uncertain terms that I am the most valuable person on his team.

And lastly, I got a 4500 CL increase on my CapOne Plat (without PFB or any other complaint).

    P.S. Congrats Lizardking...that's GREAT news!

Found out my sister is having a baby boy - the first boy in the family. Hopefully this means my mother will stop hounding me to have a baby. This is good news.

Oh yes, almost forgot... it snowed here yesterday, but melted by afternoon - so I guess we can count our blessings.
