Fleet has responded to my goodwill letter with a reply stating that they are not "allowed" to delete any information fom my credit file,if in fact it is correct information. (Trying to get them to delete 2x30 day's on my report).Should I throw in the towel ,send another letter,or call? I do not understand why some companies are so gracious and others can be such jackasses. Thanks,Janet

This is good to know. I refuse to give my business to creditors that take a hard-line when it comes to goodwill.

I am going to address another letter to Fleet tomorrow. This time I am going to try a harder line with them...what have I got to lose? I am going to point out the creditors that chose to help me(Saks,Fcnb & Target).I guess they get some sort of satisfaction out sticking it to someone for the next 7 years. Thanks for the supportive input. Janet
