After having expensive car trouble the past few months, I applied for both of these cards online and received the "app in review" message for both. However, I was pleased to find out I was approved for both. My score for TU is 626 as of last week. I think both companies pulled equifax which should be the same.
good year is hurley state bank. I got a radio shack card through them. They are a division of the associates. Firestone is Credit First National Association of Brook Park, Ohio. Never heard of them.
Hurley is now owned by Citi. Firestone is a "captive", meaning they own their own bank. Goodyear card is an excellent product - 90 Days SAC on any purchase!
