It still could go either way. They pull EQ and EXP depending on if it is in store or online. Do a search for Target card to get a ton of info! Good luck!

Hubby applied online and got "we are processing...will contact you within 7 to 10 business days.

He received card in mail after a week or so.

    Not sure about in-store, though.

Sorry to hear that Joey. Keep plugging away at any negitives and use a secured visa or loan to build positive lines. It will get better!

can anyone give me a rough calculation of where my scores will be in 2 years? ill have my auto loan for 2 years ...2 secured cards kept below 30 percent utilization...and all the inqs should be off

Not true George, I was declined with a 690 score, they notified me of a 'past due' amt in a Mervyns card that I had no clue about. It was from 8 years ago. Past due $94.00

Well the good news for you is that any improvement in those scores will be more than welcome.

Thats a lot of inquiries. You have some work to do there. One good thing is that the previous one years inquiries effects your score the most for them. Try not to apply for credit too often. Especially if you think you will be turned down. I would shoot for better credit in one year not two so it doesn't seem so far off.

That is good advice to get a secured card first and make on time payments with that. I did that with capital one and after a year I was able to change it to an unsecured card and got my deposit released.

Make sure you dont miss a car payment. Maybe put it on automatic bill pay so you don't forget. With limited good trade lines you want to protect them like golden eggs.

    good luck
    pb
