Got an email from Mr. Cooke but....

    Reads as follows:

    "Thank you for your feedback regarding Capital One. According to your
    posting on Planet Feedback, you expressed concerns regarding your account.
    We have resolved your concerns. "

    <snipped the phone number of the exec offices>

    (The PFB I sent them was regarding the 15.4% APR and the annual fee BTW). Now, unless there's something in my next statement, the only thing I got was the annual fee of $20 cut in half (and that's only because I called CS about it...they denied the APR reduction). No idea if Mr. Cooke cut the interest rate as I won't find that out until the next statement posts in a few days. Was that a stupid move for me to have taken the $10 reduction from CS (and in effect, I blew my "favor for the year")?

    I got what I wanted from PFB (MR COOKE) almost

    I had 5.90% FIXED PURCHASE/BT then I did another BT and they gave me 7.90% ON THAT ONE SPECIFIC BT...I SAID WHAT GIVES???

    It was put back to 5.90% FIXED PURCHASES/BT...I did not get interest credit though...

    He also left a message on my cell phone (voice mail), but it was the same message (got his phone # at least). Hopefully I'll receive a letter in the mail if they did decide to lower it.

    Apparently he wiped out the membership fee altogether (I don't know if it's permanent...probably not), but won't find out if the interest rate went anywhere until Wednesday when the new statment posts at the earliest (hope for the best--15.4% is an UHHHHHHHGLY number)

    I just got turned down a few days ago from cap1 because they pulled all 3 reports. I am about to do my 2nd lawsuit against experian and I know that is what ruined my chance. I explained the situation via planetfeedback today and am waiting for a response. How long does it take for him to get back to you? I did get the confirmation they received it from cap1.

    Looks as though all I'm getting is the annual fee waived...interest rate hasn't budged (unless they can't adjust on last month's balance, which I doubt).

    Guess I'm going to be in the market for another (non Cap1) card fairly soon.
