The credit limit is only $3500...I applied for the reg and can I now even though it's been awhile apply for the gold and combine into the plat select? Anyone had success doing this? I know I'll have another inq. but at least I'll be able to have better ratios.
Did you have any negs when they approved you? Can you combine a Citi Gold AA World MasterCard with another to get the Plat Select?
I have no negs on equifax, which is what they pulled and score is 700...should I apply for the gold or maybe go for something else...can I get anything else?
Apply for the gold. You should get approved. Then, combine the gold with the silver and convert to plat select or whatever you want.
I didn't get instant approval...does that matter...? I have another reg app pending approval via reconsideration...that I applied for about a month ago and haven't heard back...got so excited with the clean report and decent score applied again because reconsideration was taking so long, anyway took about two days to get approved and got the $3500 cl....so now should I wait for the reconsideration or just go for the gold?
I don't have a CitiCard. However, many visitors are probably wondering if they have a STRONG chance of receiving a second card to complete the BDD. Also, I read from other boards that you can only apply for up to 2 card products in a 60-day period. I hope this helps. CardKid
I called to see how my "reconsideration" from the beginning of may was going...still processing and could take a couple of weeks...where as the new app. took 2 days...so I went ahead and applied for the gold...being processed. Will let everyone know what happens...
thanx george...also, I don't know where I saw you post it but if I read correctly you applied for amex...it took only two days for me to get an answer via a live person on the 800 # you posted..today it showed up on the automated system(I keep calling because I can't believe it lol) so you don't have to wait the full 10 days to know whether or not your approved...which did you apply for?
