i had to do it....vanity for the pseudo AMEX card I funded it with $100 from Citi just to test. Anyone have any hints on how to use this new "card"? I read some people used it to get increases on low lines by taking most of the credit line over from say CapOne to this card, then making a huge payment. Steph
I had that same plan in mind to build my Crap 1 card that I USE to have.........yes USE TO HAVE. The plan was to transfer money off of it to Cobalt, then when the bill was due, withdraw the money off of Cobalt and pay Crap 1. Well I got Citibank so that idea obviously went out the window since I called and canceled ASAP! $200......s*&%.....they really must have jokes over at Cap 1! <ROFL...> Oh.........just an FYI.......there are some ATM machines (particularly the ones inside of 7-11) that have NO FEE for Am/Ex Membership Banking customers. I used Cobalt and WAS NOT charged a fee. So, bottom line: Free to fund the card and free to withdraw money at certain ATMs. Can't beat that I guess. I sucks that you can only withdraw $100/day and $300 with in a 7 day period.
