Got denied for bk but on my tu report its not listed. However there are 2 accts which show chargeoff for bk. Is that how the info was used? Can it be deciphered from tradelines without a public record
Yes. I know creditors can be alerted to BKs on TU reports without a corresponding public record. A while back I somehow ended up with a BK notation on one of my settled collections. Only God knows how it got that way. Strangely enough, the BK notation was only available on a special view of the report which also included the printed report they sent directly to me. It took effort, but I was able to get it removed.
