I applied for credit with home depot and got denied.My credit score at the big three is 700 plus.When I got the letter in the mail it showed they pull my credit from http://www.allcreditdata.com How can you win???
I could not get any cards other than Orchard with 700. I hear about people getting loads of credit with 650, but it wasn't until I was over 720 on my reports that I actually started getting approved. I don't want to upset you, but that's just how it was for me. Even The Gap wouldn't give me a card when I was 707 (they pull eq). You may want to hold off applying for a while and bring your score up 20 points and try again.
