I finally got my Juniper TOY Visa Card with $500 credit limit from the mail today. It looks the same as the Platinum on the upper right hand corner of the card. Ron.
Did you call to CANCEL???? Tell the you have NO use for a card that is 90% (or your %) LOWER THAN YOUR LOWEST!!!
Hello Ron, Congrats on getting the Juniper toy card regardless of the credit line.... is hard to get a card with them I have several friends that try with them and got denied.... they require excellent credit that's all I know about them but right now I am not exactly call happy with them because of the apr of 16.99% I have several Platinum cards and theirs are the highest.. the reason I got from them was that they offer a 0% for 5 mos for me last year and they told me that since the prime rate has change they have to adjust accounts that is open last year around my time... but they are very generous with the credit lines you might want to talk to them and see if they can raise it or something cause I see your post that you have other platium cards as well with much higher lines... anyways good luck if you are going to talk with them.... George, I'm curious. How much total CL do you have? We have similar scores, but until the H&R Block Fiasco with HHB, I haven't experienced what you have. Our CL to income ratio is 33%. Maybe you have too much available credit despite your high income?
Not to downplay getting approved by Juniper, but what good is ANY card that's "hard to get" if it offers a terrible apr and a lousy credit line? If this hard to get card continues to hand out stingy, subprime credit lines and apr's to prime applicants, they will succeed in pissing off many annoyed would-be customers who will end up taking their business elsewhere, because such a card will do more harm than good to their credit rating.
