Okay, if you all remember my tu score was at 682 and i decided based on info contained on this board to apply for Kohl's retail card. I applied at the store and was denied..... I saw other folks who applied with lower scores and I knew all my negs were relatively minor so I sent a PFB (thanks DANI) and asked for reconsideration.... I got the email today... approved for $700!!!! My negs include a paid chargeoff student loan.. a mortage late from 2 years ago, and two small medical collections also from two years ago.
Congratulations! Retail cards are so fun to get and use (responsibly...) I gather that Kohl's is the equivalent in the Midwest of Mervyn's in California and the West. Low-priced but good-looking clothes...
