Hey you guys, this is my first post and im somewhat in a rush to post this, but would love to see repsonses ASAP. So just to let you know, im applying for a MOTORCYCLE LOAN (748s Ducati- Monoposto/ Yellow) (<~~for the people who know =). So anyway, i have this CA that has 3 accounts for me that were sent out to the CRA, when it wasnt supposed to. So basically now i have this on my credit report, and i need to get it off ASAP so i can apply for this loan, and dont miss the SALE!! So i have the letters of DELETION in PROGRESS from the CA, but my question to you is? How can i get it deleted FASTER, rather then waiting for them(CA) to send out the "tape" by the end of this month, and still waiting for the CRA to clear, which would be by the end of next month! Since i have the proof of letters, can I send it to the CRA? and would they delete it, seeing that i have proof from the CA? thanks, your helpfullness would be greatly apprecaited!!
Well, here's the thing. You can send in the letters of deletion to the CRAs and they'll accept them, but they'll start an investigation. Some on the board have had almost immediate deletions, but everytime, I've sent in a letter, they have investigated with the CA to make sure it should be coming off. They have 30 days to complete their investigations. If anyone has a faster way, please share By the way, who are you getting your loan through? What's your APR? We just bought a Harley. Well i havent applied yet, because i know most likely they will deny me approval, because of those 3 accounts with the CA. The 3 accounts are paid for now and are in the progress in being deleted by the CA, but she told me it will take about a month and half! This ducati has speical Financing for 2.95 3 years 4.99 for 4years and 7.5 for 72 months!I really need to get these deleted ASAP, there is only one NEW 2001 model left over at $10,500 748s which is a pretty damn good deal, along with the financing if i can get approved! So i really need to get this DELETED within a week or Two, if thats even possible!So do you know the steps in sending these LETTERS (the DELETION IN PROGRESS). Thanks
Speaking from VERY RECENT personal experience here. I faxed deletion letters to TU last wed at 6 AM. I called tonight at 4 PM and they are STILL not off! I do not know what it takes! I also sent via CRRR. Guess I'll just wait it out. Venom: Maybe if they deny you credit, you can fax the lender copies of the deletion letters and ask for reconsideration.
Well, first I would call the CRAs and tell them that you have deletion letters for some bogus debts on your CR and you need them off asap. Ask them what is the best fax number to send them to. If they give you some line that they don't accept faxes, ask for the phone to someone who will be able to recieve a fax. If they get pig headed about it, tell them that they let this mis-reporting go on to long and that they have screwed with your credit for too long. You might want to be a heck of a lot nicer while saying that. You can catch more flies with honey than vinegar. You can find the fax numbers on CN, but in your case, you need them off pronto, you it would behoove you to get names as well as direct fax numbers.
the best you can do it call the CRA's and talk to them, and try to fax them in. The CRA's don't like to do anything in a hurry though!!
