I'm soooo happy! I just went and picked up my new car a few hours ago. 2002 Chevy Impala-loaded. Received $0 down with 2.9% financing although I had to forgo the $2,500 rebate because of credit scores (damages against equifax!). All in all, GMAC really worked with me. They certainly have one more loyal customer. Then...I promptly drove down the road to the Dodge dealer that turned me down for a loan so I could get a hard copy of the sh88ty offer they made me in lieu of traditional financing ($5,000 down w/12.99%). When I pulled up in my chevrolet the salesmen gawked! One salesman even remarked that I looked familiar and asked if I had been in before. I told him I had looked at a Town & Country, but was turned down for financing. What a kodak moment. The finance guy was on vacation, so I get to go back again. What fun! I'm so happy. Sirrowan
What color did you get? I remember growing up, DAD and MOM could never afford the IMPALA series. We were thrilled to be riding in a BEL AIR! Impala was the ultimate step up - and back then - you got THREE TAILLIGHTS on each side, chrome, and the nice IMPALA designation in the back seat under the radio speaker Man - the new ones are of course GREAT - BUT: the thrill of those 327s and 396s - DUDE......... I remember my neighbor Buddy got a brand new 1967 Impala SS - FASTBACK (Coupe). It was a sharp gold with black vinyl top and black vinyl "STRATOBUCKET" seats and center console. Slick DUDE! Not too much longer - the Dogman got his first car - a 1968 Chevy Camaro - Yellow/Black Vinyl top - Rally Sport hidden headlights that froze shut in the snow.... oh the memories - aarrff - dogman
Thank you. I told my girls that this is the car that I will be driving them to their high school graduation ceremony with. This baby's going to be around for a long time! Sirrowan
My Impala is Black w/nuetral leather interior. Moon Roof, Spoiler, 3.4L V6, automatic everything, programmable garage door opener, killer stereo system w/sterio controls on the steering wheel, tinted windows, custom aluminum wheels, travel center with compass and outside temperature display, star one features....... I keep looking out the window and thinking yeah baby that's mine! I love this car. Everyone that I've talked to says they love their Impala. My first car was a 1988 Mazda RX-7 (I was a spoiled brat). This car would absolutely hall a@@! Had the rotary motor, so I could put Turbo Blue in it, without damaging anything. Aahhh the memories...... Sirrowan
