Just reading through my mail and got a letter from Providian regarding my Visa Gold card: Dear MP$40 Congradulations! You have just earned a $500 increase because of your excellent credit performance. There is no charge for this increase and you may access your new credit line immediately. Then it went on to saying something to the effect that they like to reward their customers for their credit performance, blah blah blah. Alrightythen! Looking back on prior posts......I wish I wouldn't of paid $49 for a $500 increase on my MC. Maybe they would of sent me a better offer. I took it to help my balance to limit ratios. Oh well....I'll be paying this card off and putting it in the drawer along w/ the Visa Gold. Don't need them now that I have 2 new Citibank cards. I'll keep the accounts open though for now.
