For everyone who has been keeping tabs around here, I had been trying to get a home. Well, I got a call from the bank today. I got it! She's quoting me like 8%, which isn't bad since I had a foreclosure 3 years ago. Anyhow, I don't have to pay off any collections either. Woohooo!
Congrats Shantel...Who did you go through and what are your scores? I've been approved also but would like to shop around a bit if possible.
I went through CCB Bank here in Charlotte. I got approved by a broker also but I don't know about the rate yet. The banker was also anticipating what the rate would be when I close (when the house is complete in August/September)
