Equifax 698 is not bad. According to myFico.com, that's right at the 40 percentile mark -- 40% of the population is worse, 60% is better. In other words, with respect to score distribution, a 698 is a run-of-the-mill, low-side-of-average score. Sincerely yours, Randy "645" (a.k.a. "bad")
