Got my TU report back today, disputed chevron came back verified last month, did it again and disputed another account with it and both were deleted. Husband called equifax and inquired about a repo due to fall off next month and it was gone. So that means the only negative we have is the judgement on his Experian report. So I was very excited about this. 5 out of 6 clean, makes me smile. If anyone has anymore help they can offer on this judgement, let me know thanks!
My husband worked for a man who gave him a hot check and we paid rent from it. The bank honored the personal check he got from this man and our rent check cleared. The check was bad and we did not have the money to put the funds in the bank. We never recieved notice about the Judgement until it was on his credit report. The hearing was in Virginia and we live in Texas.
Sounds like you were probably improperly served. Call the VA courthouse and get a copy of the judgement, find out how they served you notice. If it was (as it seems) improperly served, get an attorney and see if you can get it set aside. You should be able to correct this. -Peace, Dave
