    Hi Everyone,

First let me start by saying, like the new board its "pretty"

    Anyway,
I posted last night that I took a chance an applied 4 cards online, BofA, Houshold Mastercard, Target, and the GM card.

Here are the results: (by the way, i think they all pulled from my transunion)...BeSt Report

    BofA-denined
    ill list reasons later

    Household Mastercard-APPOVED
    I was approved with a 1500.00 limit

    Target-System error, calling later

GM Card-system error, so i called today, was told that i was APPROVED for a 1500.00 limit.

    im excited...
got to go to the doctors, be back later to call target and find out the results,

    go me!

    Congrats PSUgirl!

Let us know what happens with Target.

With the board changes here, you may not get as much as a response to this post as normal.

    Re: Congratulations!!

    Thank you everyone!!

I called target and told them that I applied for their card on line. They couldnt find the application that I submitted. It never went through do to their system being down.

I decided that I dont want the target card.... I dont even shop at target, just some easy credit on my report.

It would be a waste of an inquiry and waist of time!

Maybe ill get a store charge at the stores that I shop at like express, gap, american egle, victoria secret, ny&co, lord and taylors! Ill try one of these stores instead, i would be much happier than with a target card!

    Re: Congratulations!!

O, as promissed....Here are the reasons for my BofA decline (they pulled my trans union report)...
Some idea about what my trans union file looks like...
    NO negatives
14 inquires in the past 12 months.
Spiegel, 400 limit, 0 bal, never late
providian, 100 limit (now 200), 92 bal, never late
    student loan, bal 269
    student loan, bal 5500
    student loan, bal 4731
    student loan, bal 2531
    student loan, bal 2000
    student loan, bal 2469
    student loan, bal 3500
    student loan, bal 875
    student loan, bal 4000
    student loan, bal 2625
    student loan, bal 875
    student loan, bal 4000
    student loan, bal 2625
    student loan, bal 3000
(NOTE: NONE OF MY STUDENT LOANS ARE IN REPAYMENT AND REFLECT POSITIVELY ON MY REPORT)
capital one, limit not reported (300), bal 0, never late, paid off account.
capital one, limit not reported (500), bal 306, never late.
friedmans jewlers, installment sales contract, bal 319, never late

    **********BofA Decline Reasons**********
    1. Length of time since oldest account was established
    2. Number of revolving accounts with high balance compared to high credit
    3. Number of recent credit inquiries
    4. Number of loans with high balance compared to loan amount

If you have any insight, please respond...

My first plan of action against these reasons is to....get capital one to combine my balances, then send a copy of my statement and have TU report my limit....

    Thanks!
