    << We are fully expecting the park we are in to go bankrupt soon because so many people have simply abandoned their homes and no new people are moving in.

    Why buy a lot for the MH park when you can buy your own?

    2*We talked to 2 mortgage companies about MHs financing and were told by both that they go by the book value.
    3*Say what you will, from where I stand they most definitely do depreciate greatly.

    5*When you buy a MH and put it in a park where you rent the lot, you are getting yourself into something that there is no way out of.
    6*It's a shame we suckers who bought them didn't know that at the time.

    4*A rented lot is not a great location.
    5*As i said when you combine buying and renting you get the worst of both worlds.
    6*That's one reason why I would never run a housing company like a MH dealer or a builder.

    As far as the MH industry being so regulated, you can't tell it by the way they build some of their homes.

    These home are the only homes built to a nation wide code.
    Admittedly the manufacturers are permitted to exceed this code if they wish.
    This would account for any differences between one MH and another MH.

    Site built homes however are not required to meet any national code and the variation between one site built and another site built can be even greater than the variations between one Manufactured home and another Manufactured home
