Equifax is removing old tl's due to my file being "too big" The CSC lady said that my file is too big due to me doing daily inquiries. I had 3 old positive TL's removed and lost 11 points on score. She also stated that they can remove items based on date. What am i to do here ? One was from 1992, another was from 1996.
The one from 92 is older than the 10 years they carry most closed accounts...this happened to me too. I wasn't able to get it back on. The other from 1996 shouldn't have dropped and your running inquiries shouldn't affect your TL's. I'd call and find someone else to speak to! Maybe she was having a bad day and just being mean!
