Grrrrrrrrrrrr - Asset Acceptance

Okay, I've posted on this one before so please forgive my repetition of details I've already posted:

These guys (Asset Acceptance) have never contacted me, they've had the account since 12/01, been reporting to CRAs since 04/02. I recently disputed as "not mine" w/ all 3. EXP just came back "verified" and so I expect to get the same answer from TU & EQ... I thought I'd requested validation, but now realize I didn't - logic (hah!) in that being: perhaps, since it is so old (way past SOL), should fall of my reports this coming December, and they've not bothered to contact me for collection - thought maybe it could be a pretty simple dispute & deletion. Wrong...

So, since the CRAs are starting to come back with "verified", do I now start next round by sending my validation request, then dispute again w/ CRAs once I get the green card back. I've got it all ready to go, but thought I'd feel better getting the opinion of those w/ more experience. I want this off of my CRs and really don't want to screw it up by not asking for help. Thanks all!

Do a search and you will see my experience with having their tradeline deleted. Basically you get the email of their corporate officers from their website and send them a creditnet type email. If it doesn't work then send another one a week later. Worked for me.

To get their email address you click the link to send a resume on their website. Take the domain name part and add the first intial and last name of the officers listed on their website.

Cool, thanks. I think I read your thread a couple weeks ago, gonna go back and read it again now. But, unless I'm missing something, it appears that they've removed the company officer's names from the website. What's really cute is they've got "A Message from the CEO" page - the CEO's name isn't anywhere on that page!

Looks like they did remove. But I'm pretty sure I had the emails in my previous thread.

    ALENT,
What do you mean when you say send a "creditnet type email:, to AAC?
I have a derog tradeline that they will not respond to my validation letters, and they have verified to the CRAs. It is past the SOL. Hey Teebee let me know if you have any angles that might help, thanks.

The type of stuff like in the sample letters on this website. It's one thing to have it go into the mailroom and then through the food chain. Quite another to have it end up in the CEO's and other executive board members' mailboxes.

And save the email and any replies. Email is traceble.

Hey, Lucas - I will keep you posted. Right now I'm still waiting to see how my EQ & TU disputes come back & go from there depending on the results. Should be any day now...
