I got the green return receipt back from the post offie today from the dispute that Junum sent certified to Equifax. Equifax signed for it on April 23. So that means that when I spoke to Equifax on the 18th and they said they received my dispute that day, it was actually the second letter that Junum claimed to have sent. So now, Equifax just received a second dispute letter. What kind of problems is this going to cause now? Anybody know what will happen now?
I would not panic. As long as they disputed the same items (most likely sent the same letter) then it will appear fine. If in some way they lable the dispute "in process" then you may get a response to that end from the second letter. Hey at least now you know they got something -Dave
