As part of our call center team, you could be serving our customers in a variety of waysâ??answering questions, selling new services for their accounts or getting commitments to make payments on overdue accounts. Your primary responsibility will be to provide exceptional customer service over the phone for two large nationwide banks in a call center environment. Daily duties include responding to inquiries regarding Certification of Deposit and Money Market Deposit Accounts, and working with customers to identify an appropriate account to suit their savings needs. Incumbent must be knowledgeable about general information about savings products, including FDIC coverage. Responsibilities include cross-selling both new and existing products and services, and performing other customer service duties such as processing correspondence and replying to customer e-mails.Qualified candidate must have a high school diploma or equivalent, excellent communication skills and the ability to handle escalated customer issues.
