I faxed an Estoppel letter to them yesterday and received a response within the hour!! I got them on the run! Here's the info you need: Samuel D. I sent validation on 4/1. On 4/7 recieved response saying "they will handle my request expeditiously as possible" Received another letter on 4/17 requesting my DL, SS card, and my signature 5 times. On 5/14(actually late evening on 5/13) I faxed the Estoppel to BOTH of the fax #'s I gave you. Mr. Shannon's response(on 5/14 at 7:21am PT) basically says that they HAVE ceased collection, they have 90 days to validate, and my demand for response in 15 days WILL BE IGNORED! I know I have them on 2 violations(at least): 1. Not validating 2. Continued colloection. I pulled my TU report on 5/11 and it does not show as being in dispute.(I know this is a TU system failure, but who cares!) Fax your Estoppel to Mr. Shannon, I knowyou'll get a response!
they have 90 days to validate? ROFL what law book is he reading? What a Maroon. I will send him a juicy one.
