Re: ? GULF STATES ON CREDIT RE I think the Gulf State is a collection agency that collect debt from previous collection that sold from other collection companies. Iheard they are nasty to collect their bills and I got few letters from them from my previous Wards accounts that I owe them 10years ago. If your charge-off accounts are more than seven years like them, don't have to deal with them. Imean it is not on your credit reports and ignore them. You don't want to start a new account from them and start over another 7 years. I tdoesn't help your credit and actually hurt your credit.
