    the one thing that I still still can't manage to get right is the difference between a hard or soft inq.. especially on a CW report.. every other report spells out what you can see and what others can see but my EQ/CW report has them all listed with some codes in the bottom.. REA isn;t one of the codes so I assume that this is a hard inquiry...

    It's a soft. If you go to the MyFico score page, then click on inquiries it will tell you how many hard inquiries have been pulled.
