I just had 4 derogatory items removed from equifax. I only submitted 4 b/c I didn't want to go overboard but they where the 4 worst items. I have 3 more I would like to dispute and I have a previous address that is actually incorrect. How long should I wait before I dispute the rest?

I have 2 accounts with sears, one reported that I was:
    5x 30 days late
    3x 60 days late
    5x 90 days late

and the other that I was:
    2x 30 days late

The last account is with capital one and it says I was:
    1x 30 days late

All accounts have a zero balance except for the first sears account but it's not a lot and I can make a good size payment.

Again, how long should I wait before I start fighting the rest?

No need to wait. Send them out. Just wait til you get the results of the current disputes before you send out additional disputes.

I went ahead and started disputing the 3 remaining negative items on my Eq credit report. The weird thing was that on the letter they sent me they took off all the late payments on the gas card I had but online they still showed up. The good thing is that my current score is now 703.

Does it make a difference which method you use online vs mail?

Why did the report that they mailed me show a clean history on the 1st of this month and go back to how it use to be by the 6th when I check online?

    Thanks

They most likely deleted the lates because the gas card did not respond within the 30 days. I would guess that they responded after the 30 days and that Equfax probably reinserted the lates. If so, they need to send you notice within 5 days of the reinsertion telling you that it was done. IF they don't send you this notice, you have good reason to demand that they remove the lates again.

But before jumping to that conclusion, I would call equifax Monday a.m. and ask why the differences.

If you dispute online, just make sure you print out any and all confirmations of the dispute. I did most of my early disputes by certified mail, return receipt requested because I wanted the absolute proof they got them. In the beginning, when I used Junum, Equifax denied receiving the first 2 disputes they were sent. Junum finally sent them certified.

When I was nearly finished with my cleanup, I started doing the last few disputes online and never had a problem.

I am new here, so please excuse if this is a stupid question. Are the negatives in your report true? If they are not true, I understand how they are deleted, but if they are true entrys....what do you say that is getting them taken off?

Depending upon the situation, I would dispute as not mine or incorrect info etc.
