WWOOPPEEE! Finally made it to the 600 club! Hubby is 609 I am 617. This a 100+ point increase in less than 60 days! Paid off small items toget deletes and just have Sears and RMA to battle! I feel good nananaana I knew that i would now...lalalalala
I also have a couple of small items that I plan to pay off and would like to try to obtain deletions. Did you negotiate by phone, in writing, fax???
Writing CRRR is preferred. Fax is faster if you know the number. make sure you pull the confirmattion of the fax after the fax is sent. NEVER BY PHONE!!!! Also do not sign any documents you send to a CA. Use a typed signature block only.
Razor635, Thanks for the suggestion/warning. I was wondering because it seemed that 60 days was such a short period of time for such great progress.
60 days is not too short when you get a judgement deleted and 3 negs deleted. Remember I also paid down the credit cards. So the combination of those things and the fact that I continue to pay bills on time made for the 100 + point increase. I did everything in writing and CRRR.
