I need help with removing some Hard inquiries from my credit reports from the three angencies. I recently refinanced my Mortgage and also took at a Home Equity loan at the same time. Both loans were processed and completed by the same lender and all went well. Recently I was checking out my credit scores and found that they all went down an average of about 70 - 100 points each!!!! After a bit of research it appears that this lender did 5-6 hard inquiries to each of the three agencies in the course of 2 months time...WTF!!!! I want to get this cleared up so that my scores return to there original 720+ range. Could someone help with a course of action.
    Thank You

Just pull a credit report with Equifax and call and dispute the inquiries. I recently disputed about 5 inquiries and surprisingly enough they were deleted the following day! They havent popped back on my report yet so im keeping my fingers crossed that it stays that way. As for the TU and EX, you'll need an updated copy of your report and just send them a certified letter stating that the inquiries were not authorized, and that should pretty much take care of it.

MULTIPLE INQUIRES from the same business in 30 days are considered DUPLICATE AND ARE NOT NEEDED...
