I'm curious how many hard inquiries folks are carrying around. I only have 2 hards in the last 2 years which I guess isn't a lot. But..after hearing about everyone applying for credit, I'm just curious how many inquiries are too many? Sometimes after reading the board, I just get the urge to apply for something...lol!
I have 3 or so on my Equifax report, less on the other two. An interesting point is that when you apply fore something, the inquiry can end up on only one report, sometimes on two and very occasionally on all three. I believe that if a person limits their applications to one every 91 days they will never have a real big point loss. If however you are getting going to apply for a mortgage, a person might want to give it a rest for the preceding 6 months.
