I just checked my 3-in-1 credit report, from Trans Union, and there are numerous creditors under INQUIRY INFORMATION. How can one tell whether these are hard or soft pulls? Also, i do not recoginize one of them who did a credit check 2 weeks ago. I have not authorized them to do it. Is it illegal. If this particular credit check was not authorized, do I have any recourse? thanks
