Last night I saw a commercial for the Freedom Gold Card on the TV Guide channel. Isn't this issued by the bank we all love to hate - Crooks Country Bank? Queen Latifah was explaining how the Freedom card is the only card which gives back to the community (a portion of funds are donated to various charities). I can't believe Cross Country bank is actually inviting people to apply after all the negative reviews they got recently.
I saw their ad in tv last night. They make it seem like it is so easy to apply for Gold card. Queen Latifah sponsoring this ad, what a joke. It reminded me about Cross Country Bank.
I think someone posted a newspaper article here a few weeks back that said this is a Cross Country product targeted at the minority market.
I think you're right about that. Those predatory criminals are after people who don't know about them, and can't afford lawyers to sue them. They're liable to get some nasty surprises when the little old granny's grandson the lawyer gets ahold of 'em. ...Or Oprah, LOL I can see this now! breeze
