Nature abhors a vacuum. Once a system of ANY kind starts, it grows exponentially. You can't take the irrational, unfair,inefficient elements out of the economic house of cards without the whole structure tumbling down. If you want to go back to the "good old days" of no collecion agencies and no credit bureaus, then you will have to also go back to no credit, pay as you go, or swap for chickens and a pig. Of course, since our entire economy is built on borrowing,it would put most everyone out of work.
