Not me.... I am too scared to start messing with anything on my credit report. I wish it were better. But I guess I fear it could be worse if I tried to 'fix it' illegally.
No kidding! I have looked over the sites and they claim to be legal. Besides the financial cost alone would be enough for me to pay off all of my debts and have some left over for a mutual fund. Just wondering what you guys say about it, I can't seem to find any archived posts relating to these services. It would be a public service for someone to warn others.
I think the whole set of posts there is pure marketing. I don't think it is a real system for doing anything. The " posters " names have just enough information to fool people into thinking they are real people. When do people sign their names to posts on this site? Never, or rarely. But on that site you see names like Eric, Ben from Texas, etc. It is a fake site, designed to bring money in to the site owners, from my view. Even if it were, how good is a system where the core of it is deception and lies?

Do it now if you are going to, as I feel it will soon come under Federal scrutiny and possible legislation. It is legal, and you are "piggy backing" good credit. FICO will also be changing its scoring model due to these methods in the fall of 2007. If you feel it is worth the money, do it soon. But, review the different sites, and shop around, there are a wide range of costs out there for these "services".
Too bad the ripoffreport post has only old replies to it. Also too bad that www.creditengineering.com seems to be out of business (if it was ever in it.)
Doesn't work and it is fraud as opposed to adding actual, positive, aged, tradelines to an existing report of your own. Don't do it.

Not necessarily. It can be done in a manner that follows the law. There is nothing inherently illegal in the action at this time, if done properly.
