    Hey,

I just received the last of my 3 reports to begin the process of working on my credit. I noticed that Cap One did an inquiry on my Experian report. Experian states it will fall off in 1/2004 - which is 3 years after the inquiry date of 12/2001!

New policy or mistake on credit report?

    Comments welcome,

    Thanks.

Mistake. Dispute it. It'll just be deleted.

that's 2 years and one month, not 3 years.

Experian usually list the month after the 2 year mark.

That's two years. Dec 2001 through Dec 2003. On January 2004 it will be gone. :)

Opps.. I didn't catch that. What they said. Of course, you could still dispute it.

Never subtract the years, hehe. It usually comes out wrong. Stupid calendar!
