Hi everyone! I know this isnt a health board, but you guys have helped me so much in the past and I was just wondering If someone might have ever gone through what I am feeling right now. I really need your help I've had some increadibly wierd symtoms in my legs and unfortunatley I do not have health insurance and I cannot afford to go to a doctor right now. Let me start from the begining... About 4 months after I had my baby I went to the doctor becuase I had these huge brusises all over my upper legs and I had no idea where they were coming from. Also I had some joint pain in my knees. The docter ran bloodwork and finally came up with the conclusion that my symptons were post-artum and dismissed them at that. Eventually the join pain got better and the bruises began to clear up (but never completely went away) so I accepted that maybe he was right and I must just be banging in to things and not realizing it HEHE. Well it has been about a year and a half and for about the last 6 months or so, I cannot sit for more that 5 minutes with out my legs and feet failing asleep really bad and going almost completely numb. The muscles on the outside on my legs hurt occasionally also. I work in a call center were I am sitting all day so I am completely miserable. Recently I have jumped out of my chair because on the tingling and my feet have been so numb that they colasped under me and I have fallen on my face. I dont know what this could be and I dont know what to do. Please help!
I am not a doctor! My Dad had similar symptoms, and it sounds like you are having a circulatory problem. I don't want to scare you, but he had clogged arteries in his legs. Now, that was just my Dad, and he was alot older than you. For the sake of your toddler, you are going to have to get this checked out insurance or not. Call your county health services and see if they can help you. Soon!
Listen to jlynn and get some medical attention. You can call you county health dept and they should be able to get you going in the right direction. Blood clots and circulation problems in your legs can lead to serious problems...Let us know how it turns out..
