Need some Advice:

I'm in the midst of cleaning credit reports for house buying. I've been doing ok, but I'm completely confused with the following:

Back in 2001 I stopped paying on all my credit cards (Lost my Job) and one of them was my Providian credit card (BOOOOO HISSS BOOOO). The thing with this account it that Providian was bought...I think... By Emerge/PVN. What this has done to my reports is the following:

WTF????

Of course I online disputed before I found this website, and of course they all verified.

I don't know who to attack...Emerge/PVN, Compucredit, or the dreaded Shermanator....

I'm hoping some of the wonderful minds on this site can help me find some violations....
