I heard home equity line of credit is approved in texas and it is effective from october 1st, 2003. They allow upto 80% LTV. Any body had good or bad experience with HELOC. This will be a second lien on the house I guess. What will be the approximate interest rate with bk in the report since 2 years. Compass bank has no closing cost with 10k minimum withdrawal at the closing. They will pull credit history, I am wondering to go with which company like texas credit union or something else? I need to shop around without applying for one to avoid credit enquiry, any thoughts? thanks, david
