I have some small debts that were included in my bankruptcy. Is it possible to settle with the credit card companies in return for them deleting the negative item. Any help here would be appreciated. Many thanks!
First off, it is illegal for you to pay any debt listed in a BK outside the BK. I would use the fact that they were in the BK to encourage deletion. I had some success with that. Other than that, I simply challenged as "Not mine" and they were deleted.
