    Hello:

I just received an arbitration claim against me by an attorney representing MBNA.

Prior to receiving this I had responded to this attorneys collection letter by sending them an offer to settle for what MBNA had originally offered as a settlement amount. I then asked that I might be able to pay it off in small payments that I could begin making immediately and that I would also like to have any negatives removed from my credit.

Well then UPS comes a knocking with this arbitration claim. Please educate me as to what this means and if you have any suggestions as to how I should proceed. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

    Regards:
    David

Got the same thing(2) only they came by Airborne. The law firm is Wolpoff & Abramson. I read on one of the other boards NEVER to sign for anything. It's usually not good news as you can see.
