Thanks for the advice that you all have given on this forum. I have had tax liens deleted, collections deleted, stopped a couple CA from collecting on old debts they didn't have and was just reporting on my CR. I have gw everyone and have gotten good results. Everyone but Capital One. Had a cc with them in 2005 paid off in 2007, credit limit $300, went over limit $752, they are reporting paid, charge-off. I do have copy of bank statements, copy of my check that was paid to capital one, not a CA. This is hurting my score very bad. I was denied credit with walmart and disocver, both stated that cc with capital one. (charge-off) Any advice please. Below are my CR from all three agencies. Sweetie, I've gotten a dozen bad accounts removed from my credit report. (My score has gone from under 500 to 650 within the past 12 months.)

The only two "baddies" left on my report are a Cap1 paid charge-off and a Verizon paid collections account. I've resigned myself to the fact that these are just going to be stuck on there until they hit the seven-year reporting limit.

I'm not saying you shouldn't try to get rid of this tradeline. I'm just saying you are in for a long tough battle. Fix everything else first.

    I agree.
For me it has been a problem getting CHASE and CITI off.
Everything else was a piece of cake.

Just think of chase and citi as that neighbor that's always borrowing your stuff. You know he's coming back!
