PschDoc, No problems at all with your advice! You are right I have been in this situation before...hence the second Mortgage! I went in to credit card debt before and went about taking care of it blindly...payed it off with 2nd mort. Yes, we fell into the credit card trap again! This time I need advice as to how to fix this appropriately...and, you are right, it does start with budgeting and staying within our means. Thanks for your candid advice. I respect that.
