I originally tried to get an on-line version of my report at TU, but I must of had some sort of typo or something and I was told that they must mail it to me and I cannot view on-line for 30 days. I just receive my report from TU in the mail, these are the negatives I found: 1) One paid collection agent which is true. 2) Two current Credit Cards with a few over-30 & over-60. Mostly true, I think. 3) One Credit Card that was paid off and says "Cancelled by Credit Grantor" even though I cancelled it, not them. 4) Chrysler, my current lease - One late car payment, 30 days. True 5) One Credit Card listed as "Included in BK". True 6) My current mortgage with 30 day & 60 day notices and "Included in BK". This is my current Mortgage company, they were NOT involved at all in BK. I don't think I had that many late payments. 7) Eight inquires Now, here are my questions: A) Should I dispute EVERYTHING even though I know a couple to be true. B) How many of these things should I dispute at one time? C) What's the best way to dispute? Should I use the forms the sent me and send via email? Should I send certified letters to TU? Or should I wait till my 30 days are up and dispute on line? BTW, my TU score is 526. Is that good or bad with a BK on record? Thanks so much! DH
First time I did it was on their own forms-mailed CRR. Then I've done it online. I haven't had any luck with the inquiries but did have luck the first round by mail. I just did them all, but then I read on here it might be best to do a few at a time. It's totally up to you. My score is 674 with chap 7 discharged july 2001. But I had good credit (probably too much) before we had to file. (Had to file for various reasons that all came together at once). Just dispute whatever you have to the easiest way for you to do it.
I just disputed with TU online and I'm anxiously waiting to hear the results. It's really up to you. I wish I had disputed everything at once.
