Talk about going in circles. My dispute period just ended with EQ, and nearly every acount is in a worse position than before, despite letters from the creditors stating otherwise. I could use some advice, PLEASE!

    1) I have an account with my auto lease that was showing 1 30 day late payment. I spoke with the company, an they agreed to delete, since the loan was closing this month. They sent me a letter saying there was a zero balance, and that the account was never late. They stated that they also reported this info to all 3 CRAs. My new EQ report shows not only a 30 day late payment, but it is now reporting that the account is CURRENTLY PAST DUE 30 days. This despite the fact that I faxed the letter I received to EQ, and the auto co. told me that they had updated all three bureaus.

    2) My mortgage co. which also had one 30 day late from two years ago still appears, but it too is now showing as past due 30 days. Completely untrue, and confirmed by the mortgage co.

    3) A credit card co (FUSA) agreed to delete my account which had a 30 day late, sent me a letter to that effect, and told me they had reproted same to EQ. Now EQ is reporting the account as currently 30 days past due.

    4) MBNA went from current, pays as agreed, to a higher balance (incorrect) and 120+ days past due, and noted it as a collection account. THe account is current, and was reproted as such.

Score went way south as a result to 580 (down over 100pts from the score when the dispute was in effect).

So despite success with the creditors, EQ found a way to take all that away, and are now saying I can only dispute the tems again, and wait ANOTHER 30 days. I will be bankrupt by then, as I will not be able to complete my refi. What should I do??? Anyway to get them to pay attention to the letters, and expedite the updates?

You might want to read the thread about the rapid rescorers. From what I can tell, you sound like a perfect candidate especially b/c you have so much in writing.

That is a nightmare. GOD, I would go to courthouse right now and file. No second thoughts or anything, they blatantly destroyed your credit report.
