Who can be so generous as to share the fax number for Equifax's consumer affairs? I have it, but I'm at work and I don't have it with me and the search feature is not working for me.. keeps timing out. Equifax seems to have a mind of their own when they report things... it's really sad. For almost two years my Student Loan Service Center item has been reporting current with no prior payment history (rehab'd it back then and they stopped reporting late pays) and this month, all of a sudden they are reporting prior payment history and a balance higher than it was last month. DAte reported says 9/2002 and Last activity is 8/2002... something mighty fishy there. ANYWAY, I need to send a fax ASAP to them. THANKS!!
Oh yeah.. and I called SLSC and they said they didn't report it that way, but the also told me some lame story about they can't manually report it or something stupid... Doesn't matter thought becasue EquiSUX WILL fix it!
