I had challenged a charge off to Chase as I thought I had paid the account in full. Today, it was deleted off my experian raising my score 12 points. What does this mean? Is it going to come back? I had sent a letter to Chase which I haven't gotten a response on regarding this account. I wish Experian would tell me what they found out.

If it's been deleted, I wouldn't worry about it. There's not much you can do right now. Chances are they won't try to resubmit the tradeline. That's great that it's been removed. I'm suprised it only raised your score 12 points though. But, it's better than nothing. Congratulations.

Experian will only tell you remains, deleted, updated. They do not give you the details of IF the Universal Dispute form was sent/returned. The Chase account could return next month to your file IF it is a recent account (in which it would be in Chase's monthly update to Experian) but Experian is required by law to tell you it has been reinserted to the file.

Most likely, it's deleted for good......

My score went up 86 points when I disputed all the negatives. Now, it has gone up another 12. In thea letter to Chase Credit Reocvery which I just found out they've signed for. I basically told them I thought it was paid up, but if their records show differently, I would be happy to clear up the debt (in return for some consideration like only reporting for the original period). I just think it's weird that it got deleted 18 days before the deadline. If it stays gone, I'll definately be a happy camper. It just seems way too easy. :)
