Ok, I have broken down. I am going to apply. I need some suggestions though. I live in FL, and I need to find out what cards are easiest to get approved for. I have scores of 670 and above on all reports, however with derogs. A lot of people have been talking about the Target Visa card. I would like something that offers online approvals. Thanks.

Target visa, GM card, citibank, amex all offer online approvals.

With 670 I know you can get the first 3, not sure about Amex. I've been told that the Delta Skymiles is one of the easier Amex cards to get. A few people have said a 650 will get that.

    Good luck.

OH, Discover also has online, instant approvals.

I have over 670 and was turned down flat by GM.

What about Discover. I've heard they are score driven. I may be completely off base about that though lol.

    SueDan,

It seems the cutoff is 680. I wouldn't apply for anything until I was solidly into the upper 680's. Once you do and get denied your score drops, albeit slightly. But that defeats your purpose. Lets not shoot ourselves in the foot, ok?

You're just not quite ready yet.

    :)

Ok. I guess I will do one more round of disputes and will apply at the end of September. I have a couple of disputes left in me I think. Thanks for all of your replies.
