i have been the hospital directly and have not missed a payment on a "verbal agreement" there are 4 accounts and they turned one over for some reason in January to a collection agency I went to there office and the girl behind the desk told me not to worry about it to keep making the payments which I did...........IT is now on my credit report I have good credit and need to remove this she told me it was to late because once it goes on it can't be taking off now...........
It can be removed. She's feeding you a line. Did you get anything in writing from the hospital? How long have you been making the payments? I'm sure someone else on this board has a better idea, but I would contact the head of the hospital's billing department and ask them why they reneged on their deal to allow you to make payments.
no I did not get anything in writing I have been making payments since 09/05.. and never missed one per the agreement I had with there billing department this is the only thing that is bad on my credit report and I want it off asap
can someone please help me I am running out of time as I need to refinance on my home i need to get this taken care of
