Some of you know my situation from an earlier post but I have
found out through a Kansas attorney that this account is considered
an oral contract and the SOL is 3 years from the last payment. There has
never been a payment made on it and the charges were made in Nov. 1999 so we are past the SOL yeah!!!! I now need to file an answer to the petition with the court and to serve a copy to plaintiffs attorney. Can anyone tell me how to do this and maybe give me a sample letter? Any help would be appreciated. My court date is July 10th and my attorney said I had until the the day of the hearing to file my answer but I would like to do this as soon as possible. I am going to be in Kansas the first two weeks of July so can I do it by mail or should I wait and do it in person? Please help!

Also if they dismiss it can they come back and sue me in Texas whose SOL is 4 years?
